Our Mission
To introduce young people in Burke County to Jesus Christ, help them grow in their faith, and equip them to transform their community.
Young Life is a world-class organization for adolescents. Our staff and volunteers enter the world of kids, focusing on what matters to them – fun, adventure, friendship and a sense of significance. In doing so, we earn the privilege of talking to them about something that we believe matters most of all – the truth about God and His love for them.
Young Life has been in Burke County for the last 6 years. We send leaders into Patton, Freedom, and Draughn High Schools with hopes to extend our reach into schools in the county. Our area is completely funded by the local community. Through this golf tournament, our goal is to raise $20,000 which will assist us in sending more kids to camp, training up more volunteers, and sharing the gospel with every student in Burke county.
